Commercial Loan Officer
Daniel Milbrandt has been involved in lending his entire career. After an initial period of service with a small community bank, he joined the credit union movement in 1996. Involved in all areas of lending for Consumer, Mortgage, and Commercial products, he has served as Chief Lending officer of Blackhawk Community Credit Union and Summit Credit Union, both in southern Wisconsin. During this time, he was responsible for the full gamut of Commercial Lending challenges, ending with a portfolio of over $160 million at the $2 billion asset Summit.
After 30 years in the industry, he elected to retire early in 2015 to explore and enjoy other facets of life. Shortly thereafter, he found himself in demand as a consultant for a number of credit union lending issues, ultimately engaging in a long term project at Parker Community Credit Union establishing a commercial loan department from the ground up. With the merger of Parker with Educators Credit Union in the fall of 2017, he is continuing to guide the newly combined Commercial Loan Departments at the merged institution, while still balancing enough time to continue to enjoy other facets of life.
Dan has a BBA and MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and has participated in a number of other related programs, include CUES Business Lending School and CUES CSE (Certified Senior Executive).
