Patrick D. Lynch
Patrick (“Pat”) Lynch has built a successful track record in business management and product development principally in financial and technology-related services.
After proving that he was adept at running a family-held business, which he joined immediately after completing his studies at the University of Southern California in 1978, Pat became an executive within a merchant banking team at Interallianz-Hallwood based in Zurich, Switzerland. The firm specialized in financial restructurings.
Upon returning to the US, Pat joined Bridge Information Systems, a financial information provider, and served on Bridge’s Board and Executive Management Committee. At Bridge Pat launched an international service which provided non-US financial information to money managers and traders throughout the world.
After seven high-growth and successful years at Bridge Pat joined James Capel (the investment banking and trading arm of HSBC) as a CEO of a James Capel subsidiary, and as a member of their International Board.
Pat returned to the US and had a very successful career on Wall Street. He was an executive at Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley. Pat joined ING Baring Furman Selz as a Senior Managing Director.
Pat then joined Sector, Inc., a telecommunications and information processing/outsourcing firm, as their President and CEO. In addition to these duties Pat joined the 3-member Executive Management Committee that ran SIAC (Sector’s ‘Parent’, which was then owned by the New York and American Stock Exchanges.) Pat was instrumental in helping to lead Sector/SIAC to record revenue and profits, as well as guiding them through the trauma of 9/11 and the necessary rebuilding afterwards.
Pat decided to leave Sector/SIAC and joined SunGard Trading Systems/ BRASS as their Head of Sales & Marketing, then was promoted to be their COO. After one year Pat was named as BRASS’ President and CEO. After a LBO occurred Pat stayed for two more years in leading BRASS in making significantly high returns for its new owners.
Pat joined Advanced Financial Applications, Inc. (“AFA”) in October of 2006 as CEO and Chairman of their Board of Directors. AFA provided a suite of financial service applications to Money Managers and Brokerage firms. Pat successfully guided AFA through a very difficult economic period and left AFA at the end of 2009 when the firm was sold.
Pat and his Wife, Susan (Susi), own Perpetual Storage, Inc. (‘PSI’). PSI has a highly secure offsite records depositary/ vault system located inside of a mountain in Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT., where data sets are stored for Government and Corporate clients.
